I have travelled to Sicily together with my parents when I was still a young child and always had wanted to revisit. Last January me and Gary managed to visit our neighbouring island.

We were quite impressed by the beauty of Catania’s centre and Mount Etna snow experience and of course the great food!

Our first visit was the central square marked by this elephant  statue.

A very interesting facade; love the whole theme including the signage and iron works.

Apparently Catania has been built over and over again and one can see some of the old city remains.

Villa Bellini Garden- was a cool find to see they do daily dates

View of Mount Etna from our hotel.

Some typical sicilian food- specialising in ham and pistacchio!

Up on mount Etna or maybe heaven?

Gary showing off he can beat the cold temperatures 😀
